Operating internationally as Haiwang Packaging, we are a state-owned, joint-stock corrugated packaging manufacturer in China, headquartered in the Qingdao West Coast New Area, Shandong Province. Founded in 1958, we have grown from a regional paper mill into a fully integrated packaging enterprise that unites research and development, production, and intelligent logistics under one roof.
Today our core business centers on corrugated board and corrugated boxes, complemented by premium gift-box packaging and a paper-and-pulp trading operation. We serve manufacturers and brand owners in electronics and home appliances, food and agriculture, healthcare, and retail — delivering packaging that protects products, strengthens brands, and moves efficiently through the supply chain.
Our story began in 1958 as the Jiaonan County Paper Mill. In 1994 the enterprise was restructured into Qingdao Haiwang Paper Co., Ltd., building the joint-stock foundation we operate on today.
In 2019 we launched a full transformation-and-relocation program to move beyond traditional papermaking. Phase I of the new smart facility came online in 2021, and by 2022 the legacy papermaking capacity at our old plant had been fully retired — marking a decisive shift from conventional paper production to high-end, intelligent packaging printing. That transformation is the backbone of the Haiwang you work with now.
Quality is controlled end to end. Our in-house laboratory is equipped with a complete suite of advanced testing instruments, so every order is checked from raw material to finished box. And because we run our own logistics company — a fleet of more than 70 vehicles making roughly 100 trips a day, 24/7 — we keep transport costs down and lead times reliable.

Our record has been recognised at both city and provincial level: Haiwang has been named a Qingdao Modern Management Demonstration Enterprise and a Shandong Province Circular-Economy Advanced Model Enterprise, and the “Haiwang” brand is registered as both a Qingdao Famous Trademark and a Shandong Province Famous Trademark.
